Certified Landscape Irrigation Auditor Practice Exam – Prep, Study Guide & Practice Questions

Documenting the use of automatic flush plugs in the system review is essential because this document serves as a comprehensive evaluation of the entire irrigation system. The system review provides crucial insights into the design, functionality, and components of the irrigation system, including any specialized features like automatic flush plugs. By including this information in the system review, it ensures that all stakeholders are aware of these installations, which can impact maintenance procedures, system efficiency, and water conservation efforts. Recording this detail helps in future assessments and modifications, ensuring that the system operates optimally over time.

While daily maintenance logs track routine operations and compliance documentation addresses regulatory adherence, these do not provide the holistic overview that a system review offers. The manufacturer’s manual contains valuable information on installation and use but may not be a practical place to document modifications or installations made in the field. Thus, the system review is the most appropriate place for such a record, providing a structured and systemic overview of irrigation system components.
